Disagreements can fracture our communities, friendships, and families. And as our divisions widen, so does the common ground that unites us. The proliferation of misinformation, malformation, and disinformation on social media exacerbates the issue.
Let’s have a conversation, building understanding begins with a dialogue, allowing us to shine light where none previously existed.
Community Engagement
ENU Builds offers an abundance of activities and experiences in Ossining and the surrounding areas. The events and activities listed below are just a few that we host annually. For more details and specific dates, please refer to our events calendar.
- The ENU Youth Expo – A day filled with workshops and activities tailored for students within the community.

Currently, there are two community gardens available: one at Claremont School and another in the form of a garden box at Bethany. Community gardens bring a wealth of social benefits, such as nurturing a sense of community and belonging, encouraging social interaction and cooperation, offering opportunities for multicultural understanding, empowering students, and providing a venue for meaningful social interactions among neighbors and community members, as well as facilitating the sharing of knowledge, cultures, and traditions.
- Claremont School Garden – In collaboration with the school district, this garden enables us to provide educational programming in horticulture for the students and also contributes fresh produce to local organizations and families.
- Bethany Arts Community Garden – These garden boxes offered through Bethany Arts Community and allow ENU to expand its reach in the community and offer more healthy food options.
