By creating an open community forum where skills and ideas are exchanged, individuals are connected and resources can be used to stabilize, rejuvenate, and unify the city. The program brings high quality arts instruction to existing spaces and programs where youth gather. By bringing arts instruction to these spaces, students will have the opportunity to learn and showcase their respective artistic talents.

OCTC’s mission is to bring together diverse community partners to foster well-being among Ossining’s young people and their families. We collaborate to maximize opportunities for substance use prevention and social, academic, and personal growth through innovative youth-oriented programs right here in Ossining. We are comprised of people from law enforcement, local and county government, schools, healthcare, business, parents, youth, youth-serving organizations, faith-based and civic groups, and substance use prevention agencies.

Ossining Parents Advocating for our Children

Ossining Parents Advocating Collectively for Our Children (OPACC) is a parent advocacy group of more than 100 families who are dedicated to supporting the needs of black students in the Ossining Union Free School District (OUFSD). Started in 2006 by a group of black parents who were inspired to take action to define and remedy the opportunity and access gap, OPACC's push for equity in education continues today.

The DR Center includes a gallery, performance space, and flexible artists' studio, housed in John D. Rockefeller’s historic Orangerie.

Welcome to Westchester Ballet Company (WBC), an esteemed nonprofit youth ballet based in Ossining, New York. Established in 1950 by renowned ballerina and choreographer Iris Merrick, WBC is one of the oldest regional nonprofit ballet companies in the United States. Our company consists of approximately 100 talented young dancers, 6 to 18 years of age, who are chosen through open auditions held annually in and around Ossining, New York.
